I recently had the pleasure of photographing this sweet little girl! Her parents waited 12 years for her, and she made a grand entrance filled with lots of emotions and many days in the NICU. Shirley’s story made me tear up as I was reminded once again how every single baby is a miracle.

In fact, my favorite part of photographing newborns is hearing each story. Parents often volunteer details about the anticipation and arrival of their little one; and I eat them up!
