How To Plan for Photography Session Success!
Is your new year’s resolution to be a better planner? Let me help! Reference this seasonal guide throughout the year for Norman photography session success. The key takeaway here is the early bird gets the photography session! My least favorite part of the photography business is having to turn away sessions because my schedule is full and I cannot accommodate a client. I even reward Norman newborn photography clients who plan ahead by offering $50 off their session fee if I receive their deposit before their 28th week of pregnancy. It really does pay to plan! Keep reading for me info.
Reviews are not only vital for the healthy and longevity of my business, but they make my heart glow! Did you love your Fall photography session? Did your Norman newborn photos make you cry? The best gift you can give me is to leave a review on my Facebook or Google page!
Cold winter months are a great time for indoor studio sessions for your baby or big kids! Especially if you missed a Fall session a couple months earlier 😉
Simple Valentine’s Day set-ups make for a fun milestone session for your little littles. This type of session is ideal for kids under age 2!
Book a session for March so your Norman maternity session or Norman family photography session features early blooms like red buds and daffodils! It might be a bit cold, so bring a sweater or blanket to warm up between poses 😉 If it’s really cold outside, we can find a warm place to shoot, like the Myriad Botanical Garden in Oklahoma City!
Spring blooms are in full force this month, so think dry thoughts as we dodge April showers to capture your Norman family photography session or maternity shoot!
Did you know that August and September are my busiest months for Norman newborn photography sessions? Book your Norman newborn session in *May* if you’re expecting during this window to guarantee availability, and enjoy $50 off your session if I receive your $150 deposit before your 28th week of pregnancy. Talk about a win-win!
This month is a great time for a Norman family photography session or Norman maternity session – before it gets too hot! Plenty of greenery makes for a beautiful backdrop.
Now is the time to book Norman Fall family photography sessions! Need help planning what to wear for your Norman maternity session or family photo shoot? Check out my best-dressed clients on my Pinterest page!
Will the whole family be in town for Thanksgiving? I only accept one extended family session per year (price varies with number of people and duration of session). Plan ahead and be the lucky one!
I *might* have some openings for late Fall family photography sessions. Don’t be afraid of leafless trees or brown/neutral backgrounds. Spice up your Norman Fall family photography by wearing bright colors or deep earth tones!
More late Fall family and maternity photography sessions! I cannot guarantee openings for those holiday photo cards, but you might contact me to see if I had anyone cancel. Remember, I need at least 2 weeks to edit your pictures and set-up your personal download link. Again, adding pops of color by being intentional with your outfits is key! We might also try a forest-y location, or Christmas tree farm to set your Norman Fall family photography session against some rich evergreens.
Watch for Black Friday deals on prints and photo cards this month! Photos from your Norman family photography session make great gifts for grandparents and extended family members. Mpix is my favorite lab because of their color accuracy! You can even add a touch of Christmas to your October or November Norman newborn photography session like this family did to have a family photo ready for your holiday card!
